3. Denmark – rough levels (DKK/month)
In Denmark, a lot goes via brand dealers and leasing companies (FDM, LeasePlan, etc.).
Typical “from” levels (10–15 000 km/year ≈ 1 000–1 500 mil/year):
- Volkswagen ID.4 – about 3 800–4 500 DKK/month, 36 months, service often included; winter tyres extra.

4. Germany – typical levels (€/month, private leasing)
Big German leasing sites (brand finance, Autohaus, aggregators) show roughly:
- VW ID.4 – campaigns from about 280–350 €/month (often with a high one-time fee), 10 000 km/year ≈ 1 000 mil/year.
- Volvo EX30 – about 320–400 €/month at 10 000 km/year.
- Ford Mustang Mach-E – often 350–450 €/month, depending on battery/power.
- BMW iX1 – about 400–500 €/month at 10–15 000 km/year.

- MG4 – very aggressive deals from about 200–280 €/month.
- Zeekr X/001 – after launch in Germany, leasing levels are roughly 400–600 €/month, depending on model and mileage.
Standard annual mileage in Germany is 10–15 000 km/year (≈ 1 000–1 500 mil/year). Higher km quickly increases the monthly payment.
5. England / UK – typical levels (GBP/month, personal lease)
In the UK, contracts are almost always in miles per year (5k, 8k, 10k miles).
Approx conversions:
- 5 000 miles ≈ 8 000 km ≈ 800 mil/year
- 8 000 miles ≈ 13 000 km ≈ 1 300 mil/year
From major UK lease sites (leasing.com, WhatCar? etc.):
- VW ID.4 – from about £350–£400/month (5–8k miles/year ≈ 800–1 300 mil/year).
- Volvo EX30 – about £330–£380/month at 8k miles/year.

- Zeekr – still quite limited in the UK; mainly via import/specialist lease firms, roughly priced like other premium compact SUVs.
6. How to actually get all offers per brand/country
To build a full matrix for your EV-erything-style project with all offers per brand/country, the practical way is:
A. Sweden / Norway / Denmark
Use 2–3 big private-leasing comparison sites in each country (e.g. Swedish aggregators, FINN/elbilleasing.no in Norway, FDM/other portals in Denmark).
Filter by:
- Brand (VW, Volvo, Ford, BMW, Mercedes, Renault, MG, Zeekr)
- Powertrain: Electric / BEV
This time this is a strong current BEV and PHEV leasing offers in the Nordics, the rest of Europe and the US (campaigns as of late November 2025).
Leasing offers change fast, so think of these as examples of “how good it gets right now”, not a fixed ranking.
1. Nordics
🇸🇪 Sweden – sharp BEV and PHEV offers
Cheapest new BEVs to private-lease (Elbilsvaruhuset top-20 list, Nov 2025) (elbilsvaruhuset.se)
- Renault 5 – from 2 990 SEK/month
- Mini Cooper Electric – from 3 395 SEK/month
- Nissan Micra Electric – from 3 495 SEK/month
- Renault 4 – from 3 590 SEK/month
- Mini Aceman Electric – from 3 695 SEK/month
- Small premium crossovers like Volvo EX30, Cupra Born, MG4, Renault Scenic land around 3 895–3 990 SEK/month.
These prices are for ~36 months and 10 000 km/year and come from Carplus/other private-lease brokers, usually including insurance, service and roadside assistance in the monthly fee. (elbilsvaruhuset.se)
Good Swedish PHEV private-lease examples (Carup comparison, May 2025) (Carup.se)
Carup compared “cheap” plug-in hybrids and showed typical Swedish campaign levels like:
- Kia Niro Plug-in Hybrid “Action”
– ~4 795 SEK/month, 36 months, 10 000 km/year incl. service & winter wheels. - Toyota C-HR 2.0 Plug-in Active
– ~4 495 SEK/month, 36 months, 15 000 km/year, service & roadside assistance included. - Ford Kuga 2.5 PHEV Active
– ~4 495 SEK/month, 36 months, 10 000 km/year. - Škoda Superb iV PHEV
– ~4 295 SEK/month, 36 months, 10 000 km/year, >100 km WLTP electric range. - Lynk & Co 01 (subscription-style PHEV)
– ~4 895 SEK/month including service & winter wheels.
Conclusion from that article: for many drivers doing “normal” mileage, leasing the PHEV is at least as cheap as buying once you factor depreciation, service and tyres. (Carup.se)
🇳🇴 Norway
Norway is very BEV-heavy, but you still see some PHEVs in the mix.
Strong BEV campaigns (Bildeal, private leasing with 0 NOK down): (Bildeal)
- Renault 5 Urban Range – from 3 799 NOK/month, 0 down
- Volvo EX30 Core RWD – from 4 299 NOK/month, 0 down
- MG4 Luxury – from 3 800 NOK/month, 0 down
- Hyundai Kona Electric Long Range – from 5 299 NOK/month, 0 down
PHEVs: platforms like Ayvens let you filter on plug-in hybrids (Ford Kuga, Škoda Superb, etc.) and often show PHEVs only slightly more per month than equivalent petrol, thanks to Norwegian tax structure. (Ayvens)
🇩🇰🇫🇮 Denmark & Finland (short version)
- Denmark: local campaigns often put MG4 Electric and similar BEVs around 3 000–4 500 DKK/month depending on down-payment; PHEV deals for Kia/Hyundai/Toyota crossovers typically sit in a similar or slightly higher band. (Kia Brasil)
- Finland: Polestar 2 and Cupra Tavascan BEVs have been advertised from about €569–599/month; PHEV estates/SUVs like Škoda Superb iV or Kia Sportage PHEV are often in the €450–650/month bracket on 36–48 month deals. (selectcarleasing.co.uk)
2. Rest of Europe (EU + UK)
Eurozone – examples from Belgium / Netherlands / Germany
Budget BEV private-lease (Flanders, Electra comparison, Nov 2025) (Electra)
Electra’s benchmark of EV private-lease levels:
- Opel Corsa Electric – from €299/month
- Opel Frontera Electric – from €329/month
- Peugeot e-208 – from €359/month
- Renault 5 E-Tech – from €374/month
That’s for full-service private-lease (insurance, maintenance, tyres etc.) in Belgium.
PHEV private-lease reference levels
- Dutch comparison sites like Autonomer show hybrid private-lease from ~€273/month as of 2025, including full service. (Autonomer.nl)
- Dealer groups in NL advertise PHEV SUVs and estates such as Audi Q5 TFSI e or Škoda Superb iV typically from €600–800/month, depending on spec and mileage. (Welkom bij Vallei Auto Groep)
So ballpark: €300–400/month for small BEVs, €270–400/month for mainstream PHEVs, and €600–800/month for premium PHEV SUVs on 36–48 months, 10–15 000 km/year.

4. How to use this in practice
If you want to hunt “best deal” for your use case (BEV or PHEV):
- Fix your segment and spec first
- Example: “Small city BEV under 3 500 SEK/month” or “mid-size PHEV SUV, at least 60 km WLTP EV range, under 5 500 SEK/month”.
- Use local aggregators:
- Sweden/Nordics: Carplus, Elbilsvaruhuset, Carup, Bildeal, Ayvens Norway. (elbilsvaruhuset.se)
- Eurozone: national private-lease portals (Justlease, Ayvens, ANWB, Autonomer etc.). (Justlease)
- UK: Select Car Leasing, LeaseLoco and similar comparison sites. (selectcarleasing.co.uk)
- US: CarsDirect, TrueCar, U.S. News & Electrek’s monthly EV-deal roundups. (CarsDirect)
- Always calculate “effective monthly” yourself:
> (Down payment + all monthly payments) ÷ lease term
Then compare offers on the same mileage (e.g. 10 000 or 15 000 km / 12 000 miles per year).
15th of November 2025
This time we only keep offers clearly under ~5,500 SEK/month equivalent.
1. Nordic countries (focus Sweden) – under 5,500 SEK / month
✅ Volkswagen (VW)
VW ID.3 (Sweden)
- Approx.: from ~3,995 SEK/month

- Approx.: from ~4,995 SEK/month

- Why good: Full-size family SUV below your 5,500 SEK cap – very strong value per krona for space and range.
✅ Volvo
Volvo EX30 Single Motor (Core/Plus, Sweden)
- Approx.: from ~3,995–4,495 SEK/month depending on trim and campaign.
- Typical terms: 36 months, 10,000 km/year, often including service.
- Why good: Small premium SUV, modern tech, good WLTP range. You get a “premium badge” EV at a non-premium monthly cost.

Škoda Elroq 60 (Sweden)
- Approx.: ~3,995 SEK/month
- Typical terms: 36 months, 10,000 km/year, campaign on stock cars.
- Why good: Compact SUV with good practicality and range at a very low monthly price.
Škoda Elroq 85 (Sweden)
- Approx.: ~4,800–4,950 SEK/month (varies by dealer/campaign).
- Why good: More range and performance than Elroq 60 but still well under 5,500 SEK.
Škoda Enyaq 85 Solid Edition (Sweden)
- Approx.: from ~5,300 SEK/month
- Why good: Big family SUV with long range, just under your cap. Excellent space/comfort per krona.
✅ Ford
Ford Explorer Electric (Sweden)
- Approx.: ~4,495 SEK/month (Long Range RWD, business/privat style campaigns).
- Typical terms: often 36 months, zero down payment.
- Why good: New EV SUV, fast charging, competitive equipment level at a surprisingly low monthly cost.
Note: Ford Mustang Mach-E and some Capri deals in Sweden typically land above 5,500 SEK, so they fall outside your limit.
✅ Zeekr
Zeekr X Long Range RWD (Sweden)
- Approx.: ~4,090 SEK/month
- Terms example: 36 months, 10,000 km/year, security deposit around 3,000 SEK, service included.
- Why good: Premium compact SUV with ~450 km WLTP and fast charging, way under your limit.
Zeekr 001 (Sweden)
- Approx.: from ~5,890 SEK/month → above 5,500 SEK.
- So: Zeekr X qualifies, Zeekr 001 doesn’t for your “cheap” list.
2. Germany – under ~500 €/month (≈ 5,500 SEK)
Converted cap:
- 5,500 SEK ≈ ~500 €/month.
✅ Volkswagen (VW)
VW ID.4 (Germany, private leasing via brokers)
- Approx.: from ~270 €/month (≈ 2,900–3,000 SEK/month).
- Typical: 48 months, 10,000 km/year, sometimes a down payment.
- Why good: Very strong leasing factor (often around 0.5–0.6). Big family EV for the price of a small ICE.
✅ Volvo
Volvo EX30 (Germany)
- Official & broker offers:
- From around 300 € gross/month (≈ 3,300 SEK/month) on some campaigns.
- Many broker deals land between 330–380 €/month → still well below 5,500 SEK.
- Why good: Same story as in Sweden: premium compact EV at a non-premium payment.
✅ Škoda
- Enyaq/Elroq deals exist in Germany, but most attractive offers I’ve seen often sit around 400–500 €/month depending on term and spec.
- Many will be within your 5,500 SEK limit, but the stand-out “super cheap” offers in Germany are more clearly visible on VW ID.4 and Volvo EX30 right now.
✅ Ford
- Ford Mustang Mach-E in Germany often comes in around 380–500 €/month on good deals.
- That means: some offers are under your 5,500 SEK cap, but they’re usually not as aggressively priced as ID.4 or EX30 when you compare equipment & range.
- Ford Explorer EV is still ramping up – limited data, but early offers often hover closer to the 500 € mark.
✅ XPeng
XPeng G6 (Germany)
- Approx.: from ~359 €/month (≈ 3,900 SEK/month) on some private leasing campaigns.
- Why good: Large, well-equipped SUV, long range, very good DC charging – one of the best “value per euro” EVs in Germany right now.
✅ Zeekr
- Zeekr X / 001 offers in Germany generally sit above 500 €/month, often closer to 600 €+.
- So: they don’t really qualify under your 5,500 SEK “cheap” ceiling in the German market.
3. England (UK) – under ~£440/month (≈ 5,500 SEK)
5,500 SEK ≈ about £440/month.
✅ Volkswagen (VW)
VW ID.4 (UK, personal lease – PCH)
- Approx.: ~£260–£300/month, depending on term, mileage and initial payment.
- Why good: Big, comfortable SUV with good WLTP range; comfortably under your price cap.
✅ Volvo
Volvo EX30 (UK, PCH)
- Approx.: £285–£350/month on many broker sites.
- Terms: often 48 months with 5–8k miles/year, relatively high initial rental (e.g. 9 months).
- Why good: Again, extremely competitive for a premium compact SUV; easily under £440/month.
✅ Škoda
Škoda Enyaq (UK)
- New car offers: quite a few around £240–£320/month depending on version and deal.
- Used-EV lease: can be even cheaper per month.
- Why good: Big family EV with lots of space and a very friendly monthly payment.
✅ Ford / XPeng / Zeekr in the UK
- Ford Mustang Mach-E, Ford Explorer, Zeekr, and any XPeng imports/special deals in the UK commonly land above ~£440/month in most public offers I’ve seen.
- So: they usually don’t qualify for your “cheap under 5,500 SEK” filter on the UK market right now.

Quick tips to actually land the cheapest number
- Mileage & term drive the price most**:** 5–8k mi/yr (UK) or 10,000 km/yr (EU) over 48 mo is often where headline rates sit.
- Upfronts: Many “wow” prices assume a big initial rental (DK often 15–60k DKK; NO shows low monthly with high startleie).
- Stock/young-used: Germany’s best numbers are frequently nearly-new (e.g., ORA 03 “Jungwagen”). (ora-motor.de)
- Chinese brand pressure is actively pulling prices down across Europe in 2025 (BYD/XPeng campaigns). (Reuters)

- For Norway, consider VAT rule changes if your lease runs into 2026–27.
