When: Persistent connectivity, sensor, or update issues.
How:

- Or perform a full power cycle:
- Park, lock, and walk away with key.
- Wait ~10 minutes for modules to sleep.
- Re-enter and start again.
🧠 Tips Across All Brands:
- Always park safely and avoid resets while driving unless it’s a non-critical infotainment reboot.
- Software updates often fix underlying issues — check for pending updates before deep resets.
- After any reset, systems like driver profiles, Bluetooth, or seat memory may need re-activation.
⚡ Polestar 2 – Wipers in Service Mode
🧰 Purpose: Lift wipers away from the hood for blade replacement or cleaning.
✅ How:
- Ensure the car is off (ignition and displays off).
- Within 3 seconds of turning the car off, press and hold the wiper stalk upward (single-wipe position) for about 3 seconds.
→ The wipers will move up into the service position mid-windshield.
🧽 After replacement:
- Turn the car on again (press brake + start).
- The wipers will automatically return to their normal resting position.
📝 Notes:
- Works only if the car is completely off.
- If the timing window passes, turn the car on and off again to retry.
- Avoid manually lifting wipers unless they’re in service position — they can hit the hood edge otherwise.
